The recultivation of closed municipal dump sites in over 40 town and villages around Győr, northwest Hungary, will start in the near future.
The project involves dump sites operated by the Association of Municipalities for the Solid Waste Management of the Győr Region is backed by HUF 5,2 billion from the government’s Environment and Energy Operational Program, a part of the New Hungary Development Plan.
The objective of the program is to solve environmental issues to improve the quality of life and to harmonize business activities and environmental protection measures.
