The local council of Pecs (S Hungary) has called a tender for the purchase and operation of the nearby Pecs-Pogany Airport.
The owners of the airport, which include the local councils of Pecs, Pogany (S Hungary) and Baranya County as well as the Pecs Holding Zrt., are looking primarily for a purchaser for the Pecs-Pogany Airport and secondarily for an operator for the 110-hectare airport.
The deadline for submitting a bid to purchase or operate the airport is June 15, while the Pecs local council will designate a winner within 60 days of that date.
